Iconic Women Who Inspire Me

Women have been reshaping the world forever, and some leave an inspiring mark that’s impossible to forget. They carry this fire that makes you want to grow, shine, and lift others along the way. Being an inspiration is the most iconic thing anyone can do. Here are a few iconic women who inspire me, motivate me, and remind me every day that I, too, can be that girl. Because it’s never too late to step into your power.

1. Robyn Rihanna Fenty

Rihanna is a singer, businesswoman, actress, and a mother of three. She is an influential figure in both music and fashion. Rihanna is one of the best-selling music artists of all time, with estimated sales of over 250 million records. From dropping chart-topping hits to building Fenty Beauty, which was inspired by her mother, she has shown the world what it truly means to take risks, turning talent, inspiration into an empire. 

What inspires me most about Rihanna is her authenticity, fearless confidence, and bold ambition. I admire how she unapologetically manifests her success and stays consistent with her vision—reminding me that taking risks and being yourself is the ultimate power move. Her journey motivates me to chase my dreams and level up in every room I enter. Beyond her ambition, her fashion sense inspires me to embrace versatility; knowing she’s never had a “bad outfit day” pushes me to experiment and elevate my own style. I even have a Pinterest board dedicated to Rihanna.

2. Karrueche Tran

Another woman who inspires me is Karrueche Tran, a model, actress, and entrepreneur known for her bold fashion sense and fearless confidence. I admire her ability to reinvent herself while staying true to who she is. Karrueche’s journey shows me the power of resilience and self-expression—reminding me that it’s okay to take risks and define success on my own terms. Her style pushes me to experiment with bold looks and mix elegance with edge, and her confidence motivates me to step into every room with my head held high.

When I was in 5th or 6th grade, I discovered that Karrueche Tran was Chris Brown’s girlfriend at the time. But I quickly realized she was so much more than that. I learned she was a model with a presence in the fashion industry, working as a stylist and personal shopper. As a pre-teen who was already passionate about fashion and dreamed of becoming a fashion designer or stylist, this instantly sparked something in me. As I got older, I saw that Karrueche truly is that girl. She knows her worth and has expanded her dreams, pursuing modeling, acting in movies and shows—my favorite being A Weekend with the Family—and even launching her own skincare business in 2024. Before that, she had a jewelry line called KAE BY Karrueche and had been featured in PrettyLittleThing. Her journey inspires me to chase my dreams and explore every opportunity with confidence and style.

Karrueche’s street fashion sense is THAT GIRL. My favorite era of her style is definitely around 2013–2017. She always had the flyest kicks and the cutest, most put-together outfits from head to toe. When it comes to fashion inspiration, I look up to her style a lot it reminds me to be bold, versatile, and confident in what I wear.

3. Savannah James

Savannah James is an entrepreneur, philanthropist, and the wife of NBA superstar LeBron James. Known for her grace, style, and dedication to giving back, she has made a name for herself both in the business world and through her charitable work. Beyond her public role, Savannah is an inspiration for balancing family, career, and community impact with confidence and authenticity.

Savannah inspires me because she’s a wife, a mom, and a classy woman who stays out of the drama. She’s not the type to seek clout off her husband or appear on messy blog pages; instead, she focuses on her family, her beauty, and being a great mom to her kids. She truly never has to do too much. I’m also inspired by her podcast, Everybody’s Crazy, which she co-hosts with April McDaniel. The podcast is authentic and engaging—together, they take listener calls to offer advice and share perspectives on personal situations. It covers everything from relationships and dating to personal growth and everyday chaos. While I haven’t called in myself, I enjoy listening to their advice and insights.
