Her Story 

I’m Imari, just a college girl in her early twenties, figuring life out, and I started GirlsNeedLUV2 from my personal experiences and reality. Over time, I’ve found so much joy and strength in female friendships and sisterhood, and I want this blog to be a space dedicated to empowerment. Women make the world go round, yet too often our voices are silenced, we’re overlooked, or told we’re either not enough or too much. Nothing is stronger than self-love, and this space is strictly for the girls—no boys allowed. Here, we uplift, elevate, and inspire each other to step into every room as our most authentic selves, knowing we are THAT GIRL and will always be. Together, us girlies stick together, grow, and shine—so let’s do this, queen!
